Matt Overton to play in 2014 NFL Pro Bowl
It's an honor for Indianapolis Colts long snapper Matt Overton, who was selected to play in the 2014 Pro Bowl on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.
It's Overton's first career selection to the game.
In 2013, Overton played in all 16 games for the second straight year and registered five special teams tackles. He snapped for kicker Adam Vinatieri to record his second-highest point total of his career (139) on 35-of-40 field goals and 34-of-34 extra points. Overton also snapped for punter Pat McAfee, who posted a franchise single-season record 27 punts pinned inside the 20-yard line.
For his career, Overton has played in all 32 regular season games and three postseason contests since being signed by the Colts as a free agent in 2012. He has tallied 14 special teams tackles in two seasons with the team.
