A Marion County Sheriff's Office deputy was arrested Friday, a day after he was fired from the department.

A spokesperson for the sheriff's office says Deputy Kevin McGaha was fired Thursday following an internal investigation. Metro police arrested McGaha Friday on a warrant for four misdemeanor charges, including battery with injury, interfering with the reporting of a crime, criminal trespassing and harassment.

McGaha has been with the sheriff's department since March 2013.
