Retired Greenfield Marine Josh Bleill, who lost both legs fighting in Iraq, is being honored for his bravery along with 31 other American heroes.

WTHR's Scott Swan followed Bleill through his recovery and rehabilitation in 2008. Read about it here.

"I think even in the book I say it's not my story. It's the millions of men and women out there who served this country. That's the story I want to get out there so they're never forgotten for what they've done," said Bleill.

Bleill was picked by Indianapolis based hhgregg and Maytag as part of their month-long promotion honoring community heroes across the country.

Bleill tells his story in this video on hhgregg's blog, and is also getting a gift from the store.
