Metro Police are investigating an early morning shooting where the victim was found in a car, shot in the leg, on the northwest side.

Police responded to the corner of Falcon Drive and Deborah St. shortly after 12:30 a.m. Thursday and found the man sitting in the car.  They believe he drove to the location where he was found, which is just west of the intersection of Lafayette Road and 34th Street.

But the man, described as an Illinois resident in his early 30s, was not cooperating with police, so they have little information on where he was shot and by whom.  Police described the wound as non life-threatening.

The man was taken to the hospital.
