Man finds himself 'eyeball-to-eyeball' with shark
Steve Robles was training for a long-distance swim when he was bit by a shark and started screaming for help.
19-year-old Justin Hoot was one man who came to his rescue, grabbing a surf board and paddling out.
The injured swimmer was pushed to shore.
Robles described his encounter with the creature.
"I saw that shark just eyeball-to-eyeball, just like you and I exactly the same distance and it came in and bit me," he said. "I'm so fortunate that you were nearby."
Robles was treated for bites on his chest and arm.
