New Castle - Indiana state police say they arrested a man who led them on a chase on his snowmobile in Henry County.

State police say they arrested 42-year-old Marc T. Foust of Hagerstown on Wednesday night on a charge of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.

Authorities tell the Palladium-Item of Richmond that a trooper spotted Foust driving at 81 miles per hour in New Castle, and he refused to stop.  Police say Foust drove into a park after encountering a New Castle police officer and crashed after breaking one of the vehicle's skis while going over a curb.

Foust was thrown from the machine but was unhurt. He was released from the Henry County Jail after posting bond. Foust doesn't have a telephone listing.
