Authorities say a body has been found in a Lebanon pond. It happened at the Boone County Conservation Club at 701 East Noble St.

A crew cutting down weeds around the pond made the discovery a little after 11:00 am.

Views from Chopper 13 showed emergency crews at the scene, including two rescuers in an inflatable boat. Divers recovered the body and an autopsy will be performed.

Lebanon Police confirmed Tuesday evening the victim is 30-year-old Sean Hobbs. Hobbs is originally from Essie, Kentucky, but had been staying with friends near the conservation club for a couple months. Police say no trauma was noted on the body.

Police have a large area to search for evidence.

The Boone County Conservation Club is fenced off and locked, so police are not sure how the victim got in the pond area.
