Lawsuit challenging Obamacare thrown out

A lawsuit challenging Obamacare has been thrown out of court.

Sen. Ron Johnson filed the lawsuit in January.

The Wisconsin Republican argued that members of Congress received special treatment under the Affordable Care Act, in the form of subsidies.

Johnson claimed those regulations forced him to participate in something he believed was illegal.

A judge disagreed on Monday.

U.S. District Judge William Griesbach ruled Johnson didn't have the legal standing to sue, because he couldn't prove he was being harmed.

The judge said the regulation hasn't been determined to be legal or illegal, so the lawsuit "puts the cart before the horse."
