A prayer rally Tuesday night brought out pastors and clergy from all over the city.

The community of Latino pastors invited other clergy and their congregations to show their support for IMPD. The rally took place at the Crossroads Bible College on the east side of Indianapolis.

The message was to simply say "thank you" and offer words of prayer for the safety of our police officers.

"We hide too much in the church and we need to step out and pray out of the church and be active in the community," said Pastor Gerson Carvona. "If something is going to change here, it's gonna be radical and it's going to be when we step out in faith and pray for the community daily."
