Lane restrictions in effect on I-69, SR 37 in Hamilton County
Road work will restrict traffic on Interstate 69 and State Road 37 starting Thursday night.
INDOT contractors working on a multi-million dollar improvement of the interchange at Exit 205 will alternate single-lane restrictions on both directions of I-69 and southbound SR 37 nightly from 8 p.m.-5 a.m.
Traffic on I-69 will be shifted slightly away from the median, but there will still be two lanes of traffic moving in both directions after the shift.
The southbound SR 37 ramp will be restricted to a single lane south of 126th Street during this phase of construction. A new bridge will be constructed to carry southbound traffic on SR 37 over southbound I-69 traffic exiting on 116th Street.
The restriction will be in place until the new bridge opens.
