A Kokomo man who pleaded guilty to killing a friend and stuffing the victim's body inside an unplugged freezer is headed to prison for 28 years. That's the sentence for 53-year-old Walter Logan.

Logan told police he had a fight with 29-year-old Alex Shipp.

He bound Shipp's hands and feet and put duct tape over his nose and mouth, then fell asleep. When he woke up, Shipp appeared dead.

Logan was also ordered to pay $1,800 in restitution for Shipp's funeral expenses.
