Knowledge Services announces expansion, 400 new jobs
GuideSoft, Inc. (doing business as Knowledge Services) announced plans Tuesday to expand its headquarters in Indianapolis and create 400 new jobs by 2018.
The company says it plans to invest over $800,000 to lease and equip 5,500 square feet of additional space at its current 18,000-square-foot corporate headquarters on the Indianapolis northeast side. The expansion will make way for software development and client support services.
Knowledge Services says it has already created 200 jobs after its 2011 expansion. It currently has 310 full-time employees in Indianapolis; 650 in Indiana and over 1,100 across the country. It's currently hiring for positions in software development, accounting, customer support, training and business development.
The company offers services to help businesses and governmental agencies manage labor, including cost tracking and 1099 services.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered GuideSoft/Knowledge Services up to $2.3 million in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans. Until Hoosiers are hired, the company cannot claim the incentives.
