Just days after his son was killed on a New York dirt track, the father of Kevin Ward Jr. is speaking out about the accident.

On the initial crash with Tony Stewart, Kevin Ward Sr. said:

"I think the reason he probably got out of that car is who put him into the wall. He was definitely put into the wall. Tony Stewart was the best damn driver by far on the track that night. Why he had to go up as high as he did and hog my son, there's no reason for it."

Kevin Ward talked about Stewart hitting his son on the track.

"Apparently, Tony Stewart was the only one driving out there who didn't see him," said Ward. "The one person that knows what happened that night is possibly facing 10 years in prison. Is he going to say what he done?"

Ward also talked about the moments after the crash, seeing his son lying motionless on the track.

"I knew it was pretty serious. The officials still weren't letting us on the track."

Ward says another person there told him to, "Get out on the track and don't let anybody stop you."

While the investigation into this past weekend's deadly crash is ongoing. Investigators say no charges are pending against Tony Stewart in the deadly collision.
