Jury seated in Jackson family suit vs. AEG
So much for the idea it would take another week to seat a jury in the case in which Michael Jackson's family is suing the promoter of his final tour.
A jury has now been seated - though lawyers from both sides hinted last week it would take longer. Now that the first 12 panelists have been picked, lawyers are looking to seat alternates.
In the suit, Jackson's mother Katherine claims promoter AEG didn't fully check out Dr. Conrad Murray before hiring him. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's death.
