IPS to adopt new budget

The new superintendent for the Indianapolis Public Schools system doesn't officially start until next month, but the school board is set to adopt the new budget for this year on Thursday. 

The district is facing a 30 million dollar deficit. The new superintendent, Dr. Lewis Ferebee says, IPS will continue to study ways to improve efficiency.

Ferebee begins work September 23rd.
