The 2013 Indianapolis Public Schools graduating class earned over $15 million in scholarships this year, the school district said Tuesday.

The final total for all students was $15,575,695. Individual school totals ranges from $447,000 to $5 million.

The total includes students from George Washington, Tech, Shortridge, John Marshall, Broad Ripple, Northwest, Crispus Attucks and Key Learning Community.

"We are proud of our students. It is wonderful to see hard work rewarded. This is also a reflection of the support provided by parents, teachers, staff and others to help our students succeed," said John T. Althardt, Director of School and Community Relations for IPS.
