Injuries reported in northwest Indianapolis school bus crash
There are injuries reported in a school bus crash on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
The crash was reported around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of W. 71st Street and North Michigan Road. The bus was carrying students from the Indiana School for the Deaf.
Three children were taken to St. Vincent Hospital with minor injuries. Investigators believe a car pulled out of the parking lot of a nearby business and was struck by the bus, which was traveling south on Michigan Road. The car, described as a silver Chevy Lumina, fled the scene.
