According to the forecast, a chance of flurries are predicted in Indianapolis late Saturday in the afternoon and into the evening. As a result to the forecast and low temperatures, 90 drivers will report to work Saturday at 11 a.m. and will work until 11 p.m. to salt the roads and bridges as necessary.

Crews will focus on cleaning up any remaining snow from the main thoroughfares and secondary streets.

Another shift of 90 drivers will report at 11 p.m. to address the streets accordingly and help prevent any refreezing on the pavement. We will continue to monitor the forecast through the night and act accordingly.

We encourage drivers to be careful, reduce their speed and allow ample time to arrive at their destination and give Indy Snow Force plenty of room to salt and plow the streets.
