Indianapolis native Jordan Pickett has decided to continue his college career at IUPUI after leaving Loyola (Illinois).

Pickett played in five games with the Ramblers during his freshman season but missed the last three months of 2013-14 because of an injury. He is expected to sit out next season.

The 6-foot guard averaged 18.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists as a senior at Indianapolis Pike, where he scored 1,202 career points.

Coach Jason Gardner announced the move Monday. Since hiring Gardner, the former Arizona star, earlier this year, the Jaguars have added eight new players and five transfers from Division I schools.
