INDOT closes I-69 ramp in Fishers for 90 days

Thousands of motorists will have to find a new way to get around Hamilton County starting Friday night.

INDOT closed the southbound exit ramp from Interstate 69 to 116th Street in Fishers for the next 90 days. The northbound exit ramp will remain open.

Crews will rebuild the southbound ramp over the next three months to get rid of the weaving traffic pattern and reduce traffic congestion.

INDOT says the best way for drivers to get around the closure is to continue south on I-69 and get off at 96th Street, then get back on I-69 north, or take Hague Road north to 116th Street.
