An emotional Father's Day discussion got turned up to 11 on ESPN's "SportsCenter," thanks to an Indianapolis Indians player.

As ESPN analyst Mark Schlereth told stories of spending time with his son, Daniel, a pitcher for the Indians, the crew switched to a live satellite interview to let the younger Schlereth say "Happy Father's Day" in person.

That was enough to crack the emotions of Mark, who played 12 NFL seasons as an offensive lineman for Washington and Denver. He began crying as he repeatedly told his son he loved him.

Daniel Schlereth has pitched four seasons in the major leagues, with Arizona and Detroit, last appearing for the Tigers in 2012. He has pitched in 21 games this season for Indianapolis, compiling a 1-2 record with 18 strikeouts in 18.2 innings.
