Indianapolis not affected by canceled flights
A Southwest Airlines spokesperson says a computer glitch that grounded planes on Friday should not affect Indianapolis flights today.
Michelle Agnew told Eyewitness News that some customers may experience delays and that Southwest "canceled 14 flights today due to flight crew availability and aircraft positioning. As of now, none of the 14 include Indianapolis."
Agnew said planes were grounded for two hours on Friday due to computer glitches. She added that as of today, "our system has regained full capabilities."
About 250 flights were impacted by Friday's outage. Of those, 43 were canceled.
Southwest Airlines encourages customers to check their flight status prior to arriving to the airport.
