Indianapolis man found guilty in 13-year-old murder case
An Indianapolis man was found guilty in a 13-year-old murder case Thursday.
Frank Tiller, 51, faces sentencing Oct. 17. He was found guilty in the September 1999 murder of 83-year-old Victor Gregg. Gregg was murdered at his home on the west side of Indianapolis.
Sgt. CB Ricks was the original detective on the case. Sgt. Ricks and the IMPD Cold Case Unit, led by Sgt. David Ellison, worked together to bring the case to a close.
The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services and Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys Mark Hollingsworth and Jake Rigney were a major part of the team effort.
