An Indianapolis man was arrested early Saturday morning for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Edgar D. Booker, 43, drove the wrong way out of a downtown parking lot on Meridian Street around 2:40 a.m. and then hit a parked police cruiser, according to a police report. The arresting officer said that he could smell alcohol on Booker's breath, that his eyes were red, glassy and bloodshot, and he blew a .12 on a certified alcohol level test.

Booker was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and his car was towed.
