Victory Field will be a true field of dreams to hungry families in Central Indiana from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

The entire Indianapolis Indians organization — players, coaches, front office staff and their families — will come together to help support Kids Against Hunger of Central Indiana with a meal-pack event at Victory Field.

The team effort will result in 40,000 meals being sorted, assembled, and packed in just two hours.

Kids Against Hunger will distribute the majority of the meals to those in need in Indiana.

Kids Against Hunger of Central Indiana is an international humanitarian food aid organization that provides highly nutritious, life-saving meals to feed the hungry at home and the starving abroad while teaching Hoosier children and communities the power of volunteerism.
