The Indiana Toll Road has banned some trucks Sunday because of the threat of high winds.

The Toll Road says the ban is in effect until 1 a.m. Monday for the entire length of the highway. It bans triple, long-double and high-profile oversize permit loads. Low-profile steel haulers are exempt.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for much of northern Indiana. It says southerly winds will gust up to 45 mph Sunday afternoon. Winds will shift to the west Sunday evening with gusts up to 60 mph.
