Indiana native Angela Ahrendts takes on new role at Apple
Apple wants to expand its retail and online stores, and the tech giant has hired a Hoosier to do it.
Angela Ahrendts, 53, is leaving her job as CEO of Burberry to take a senior vice-president job with Apple. She grew up in New Palestine and graduated from Ball State University.
Last year, Forbes Magazine listed Ahrendts as number 53 on the list of most powerful women in the world for turning around Burberry and expanding its presence in the Asian markets.
