Indiana football carries high expectations into 2014

The Indiana Hoosiers have high expectations for the upcoming season.

Both wide receiver Shane Wynn and offensive lineman Colin Rahrig have been named as players to watch in the 2014 season. Quarterback Nate Sudfeld threw for 21 touchdowns last year, while sharing duties with Tre Roberson.

But Roberson transferred from IU, so it's up to Sudfeld to lead the Hoosiers, who went 5-7 a year ago.

"Last year was a lot of fun. We put up a lot of points on offense, it was constant fun each game," Sudfeld said Tuesday. "We are expecting a lot out of ourselves this year, though. We are expecting to be the best team we can be. That's cliche, but we aren't looking at any numbers, but improving overall as a unit."

The Hoosiers open the season August 30 at home against Indiana State.
