A judge has rejected a request by the owners of a Kokomo clinic that their trial be moved because of extensive media coverage.

The Kokomo Tribune reports Howard County Judge William Menges on Friday denied the request that the trial of Don and Marilyn Wagoner be moved because there won't be enough unbiased jurors.

Both doctors, along with Gary Hartman, a former physician's assistant and Drs. Robert Brewer and William Terpstra and several others connected with the Wagoner clinic, are facing felony drug dealing charges, after police and prosecutors alleged they were running what amounted to a narcotics distribution network.

State officials say at least a dozen patients died from drug-related complications. None of them are charged with causing the patients' deaths.
