Indianapolis Metro Police are looking for the vehicle that struck a 54-year-old man last month, leaving him with serious injuries.

Police say Bruce Slay was riding his bicycle westbound in the 2500 block of Kessler Boulevard West Drive on the night of October 26. A Cadillac Brougham struck him from behind and fled the scene.

Slay was thrown from his bike and had severe injuries, including several broken bones. Police say it will take a long time for him to recover.

The driver did not stop to provide any details. Detectives are looking for a 1990-1992 Cadillac Brougham which will have damage to the right front headlight and bumper. A witness at the scene described the vehicle as "light colored", but the exact color is unknown at this point.

Any help would be appreciated. Please call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477) or the IMPD Crash Investigations office 317-327-6549.
