IMPD seeks identity of 3 people found dead, 2 locations
Indianapolis Metro Police are still trying to identify three people found dead in two separate locations Saturday evening.
The first is a person found dead inside a minivan.
The van was parked on Randolph Street, near Lexington on the Indianapolis east side.
Detectives say it's not clear if the person died from natural causes or something suspicious.
We'll update this story as we learn more from Metro Police.
Homicide detectives are also investigating two bodies found at a home in the 2800 block of North Capitol Avenue.
Police are also still trying to confirm their identities. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
This has been an especially violent year in Indianapolis.
Our partners at the Indianapolis Star, say Indianapolis is on pace for 150 homicides this year.
We haven't had that level of violence since 2006.
