IMPD officer arrested for DUI reaches plea deal
An Indianapolis Metro Police officer arrested for a second DUI will not be going to prison.
Police arrested Allen Johnson in Fishers this past August. He also had an arrest for DUI in 2012.
Under the plea agreement, Johnson will have to serve time with community corrections.Court documents show Johnson drove over a roundabout and crashed into a telephone pole in Fishers last August.
Police say he admitted drinking three to four mixed drinks before getting behind the wheel.
Officers say he failed a field sobriety test. A Breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol content of .13 percent.
