Indianapolis Metro Police have made an arrest in connection with a murder on April 16, 2014.

Police arrested 23-year-old Deandre Kendrick for his alleged role in the murder of Ronald Howard. Kendrick faces a preliminary charge of murder. The Marion County Prosecutor's Office will make the final charging decision.

Police were called to the 2800 block of North Gladstone Avenue, near 30th and Massachusetts Avenue, in the early morning hours of April 16, 2014.

When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified as Ronald Howard, 29, of Indianapolis, dead inside a car. A short distance away, another man was found on a porch, also suffering from gunshot wounds. That man, Jermaine Sisk, 31, also of Indianapolis, was transported to Eskenazi hospital in serious condition.

Police say they found evidence of drug activity at the shooting scene.
