IFD responds to two separate vacant house fires early Monday morning

No one was injured in two Indianapolis house fires early Monday morning.

Both homes were vacant.

The Indianapolis Fire Department first responded to a house fire around 2:30 a.m. Monday in the 2900 block of N. Ritter Ave.

According to IFD, the home was under renovation.

The fire is believed to have started in the rear of the house.

IFD then responded to another house fire around 3 a.m. at 34th Street and Brouse Avenue.
