Hoosiers hope to shore up defense with Bowling Green next
Indiana knows it must solve its defensive problems soon.
The Hoosiers allowed 515 total yards in a 41-35 loss to Navy over the weekend. Coach Kevin Wilson said they must do a better job of stopping Bowling Green this Saturday in order to avoid falling into a 1-2 hole.
The Falcons are 2-0 and compiled 576 yards of offense in a 41-22 victory over Kent State last week. Quarterback Matt Johnson has thrown for 508 yards and running back Travis Greene is averaging 5.1 yards per carry. Out of the Mid-American Conference, Bowling Green is averaging 37.5 points per game and has played in a bowl game five times in the past decade. The two teams are meeting for the first time.
