Hoosiers add 26 football players on signing day

A late commitment from linebacker Robert McCray III of Conyers, Ga., gave Indiana a 26-player recruiting class on national signing day.
Coach Kevin Wilson wanted to add depth on offense and playmakers on defense. The Hoosiers think they got both.
Wilson and his staff were still trying to finalize things during Tuesday night's winter storm that blanketed central and southern Indiana with about five to eight inches of snow. The late-night hours paid off when McCray became the newest addition to what some regarded as one of the strongest recruiting classes in school history.
The Hoosiers also got a quarterback, Zander Diamont, the Los Angeles city player of the year; running back Tommy Mister, the Chicago Catholic League MVP; and a host of receivers and offensive linemen.
