Indiana matched the best start in school history with a 107-73 rout of Cleveland State on the road on Saturday. The Hoosiers are 12-0 for just the second time in school history, matching IU's first-ever women's basketball team, who started 12-0 in 1971-72. The 12 non-conference wins set a program record for most non-Big Ten regular season victories.

Indiana (12-0) put on an offensive clinic as the Hoosiers scored the second-most points in program history while dishing for the third-most assists ever with 27 on the afternoon. IU shot 58.7 percent (37-of-63) from the field, a season high, while nailing 10-of-25 (40.0 percent) 3-point field goals.

Larryn Brooks led the Hoosiers with 23 points as Tabitha Gerardot tied her season high with 19 points. Other Hoosiers scoring in double figures included Jenn Anderson with 12 and Nicole Bell finished with 11. Eleven Indiana players were in the scoring column in the game.

The game was tied 7-7 early before Taylor Agler drove in for a layup to put Indiana ahead. Gerardot later found Simone Deloach for a lay in before Brooks nailed IU's first 3-pointer of the afternoon. Alexis Gassion then assisted layups by Gerardot and Deloach on back-to-back trips to polish off an 11-0 Hoosier run as Indiana led 18-7 with 12:15 to play.

Cleveland State (5-6) closed the gap to a seven-point margin, 22-15, after an Allison Mitchell 3-point field goal with 9:55 on the clock. The Hoosiers strung together another run, scoring 12-straight points capped by a lob from Lyndsay Leikem to Milika Taufa for a bucket in the paint to give IU a 34-15 advantage.

In the final minutes of the opening stanza, Brooks took over for Indiana. The freshman point guard scored the final eight points of the half in the final 2:14 to take a 46-26 lead into the locker room.

The Hoosiers opened the second half just as they closed the first. Sasha Chaplin hit a layup on Indiana's first possession before CSU countered with a field goal and a trey. Brooks then nailed a 3-pointer before Gerardot scored five points and Taufa added a bucket for the Hoosiers. Agler later scored on a reverse layup to make it a 60-31 as IU outscored the Vikings 14-5 in the first 3:18 of the half.

Indiana never looked back as it built to the biggest lead of the game when Jenn Anderson lifted the Hoosiers past the century mark with a layup with 3:03 remaining and IU led 101-64.

IU shot 67.7 percent (21-of-31) in the final 20 minutes. The Hoosiers outrebounded Cleveland State, 51-20, a plus-31 margin. IU scored a season-high 54 points in the paint and got 49 of its points from the bench.

Brooks shot 6-of-12 from the field with three treys and nailed 8-of-10 free throws. Gerardot went 7-of-9 shooting and led IU with eight boards to go along with two assists, two blocks and two steals.

Anderson scored her 12 points in just 10 minutes of play, going 5-of-6 from the field with four boards. Bell went 3-of-5 from 3-point range and had five assists. Indiana's Gassion dished for a season-high six assists and added seven points.

The Hoosiers will next take to the court at Xavier on Sunday, Dec. 29. The game is set to tip at 2 p.m. ET.
