Hibbert an All-Star; Stephenson snubbed

Roy Hibbert will join Paul George in New Orleans next month, representing the Indiana Pacers in the NBA All-Star Game.

Hibbert was added to the team as a reserve Thursday night. The Pacers center will be making his second appearance in the All-Star Game during his six-year career.

"It's a great honor to be an All-Star once and to be named again makes it even more special," said Hibbert. "This is more about the team and what we've accomplished so far than it is about Paul or I being All-Stars."

George was voted onto the team in fan voting. This year's game will mark the sixth time two Pacers have played in the game.

One notable omission from the Eastern Conference roster is the Pacers' Lance Stephenson, who was not named to the team as a reserve.

The Eastern Conference will be coached by Pacers head coach Frank Vogel and his staff.
