Henryville students get "Happy" for ISTEP with remix video

School children in Henryville got creative as they got ready for this week's ISTEP exams.

Sixth graders at Henryville Elementary wrote new lyrics to Pharrell Williams' chart-topping "Happy" to reflect the standardized tests. With help from teachers at the school, they sang the new song and created a video similar to others that have spread virally across the Internet to the "Happy" tune.

"The students hope their positive message and test-taking tips will rub off on the entire school and help them to do their best on ISTEP next week," Henryville Elementary High Ability teacher Christina Pearson posted on YouTube.

Two years ago, the students were forced to take classes at Graceland Christian School in New Albany after their school was destroyed by tornadoes that devastated the southern Indiana town.
