One of Robin Williams' longtime friends is in Carmel Wednesday for an appearance.

Actor Henry Winkler remembered the comedian, who committed suicide Monday.

The man who played "Fonzi" on "Happy Days" talked about working with Williams at the beginning of his career.

Robin Williams appeared in one episode of "Happy Days" as an alien. That spawned the series "Mork & Mindy".

"This very quiet, gentle man and as soon as he starts working, you're standing in the middle of the Fourth of July. All of the sudden, there is fireworks going off around you that was stunning. There's no other way to say that. And it just poured out of him like Niagara Falls," said Winkler.

Winkler is speaking to seniors at the Barrington retirement home in Carmel about his work as an actor, director, producer and author. That event is not open to the public.
