Heavy rain, snow and big temp drops this week
Central Indiana will see a little bit of everything this week as heavy rains move in, along with snow chances and temperatures that will drop from the 50s on Monday into the teens by Friday.
SkyTrak meteorologist Chuck Lofton says western Indiana could see a slight risk for severe weather Tuesday morning, with the potential for flooding across central Indiana Tuesday night into Wednesday.
A strong cold front barrels through Wednesday, dropping temperatures out of the 50s in the morning and into the 30s by Wednesday afternoon, with rain turning to snow.
Some light accumulation is possible with this system. After that, you can expect another arctic blast with low temperatures in the single digits and highs only reaching into the teens by the end of the week.
