Hazy & warm today, scattered storms possible Memorial Day

The 98th running of the Indy 500 is here and great weather is on tap. Light rain is falling in Central Illinois this morning and moving southeast. It will stay south of Indy and it will run into dry air. It will be hazy and warm with breezes out of the southeast with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s and low 80s.

It will be partly cloudy and mild tonight with temperatures only falling into the low 60s.

More clouds will be around for Memorial Day with a chance of isolated and scattered thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be climbing into the low to mid 80s with humid conditions. Don’t change your outdoor plans but keep your SkyTrak13 weather app handy tomorrow afternoon.

Better chances of storms arrives on Tuesday with warm and muggy conditions. Temperatures climb into the mid 80s.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible through Thursday with afternoon highs climbing into the low 80s through Saturday.
