Good Indeed! Running for a Cure

Good Indeed!  The lengths to which parents will go for their children.  Heather Sanders has started a movement to find a cure for her stepdaughter’s rare disease.  11 year-old Lexi has CCM3 – a rare neurological disorder that causes vessels in the brain to swell with blood and can lead to seizures and stroke-like symptoms in children.  Heather says she can’t sit still and watch her child’s health deteriorate, so she has created a Cavernous Cure Movement Walk/Run to raise money and awareness of the CCM3 Action foundation.  You can support this foundation, searching for treatments and cures, on Saturday, May 17th  at the Awareness event at Greenwood High School.  It’s a family-friendly event with kids activities, and more, from Noon to 6 p.m.  Spread the word.  We wish the best to Lexi and to this loving stepmother.  When the event date passes, learn more about how to help on the Sanders’ Facebook page.  Good Indeed!
