Girl, 15, shot in buttocks at southeast Indianapolis home
A teenage girl has been taken to the hospital after being shot on the southeast side of Indianapolis.
The 15-year-old girl, who police say was shot in the buttocks, was taken to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Monday in the 3800 block of S. Randolph Street.
Police say the shooting does not appear to be a random act and that the gunshot may have been self-inflicted or was fired by someone in the home.
The girl was reportedly in good condition at the hospital.
