Saturday was a day of sorrow for loved ones of an Indianapolis man and expectant father who was killed during his morning walk.

Friends and family gathered to remember Nathan Trapuzzano. Trapuzzano was laid to rest after a funeral mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

The 24-year-old Ivy Tech software engineer was described as a loving husband and man of deep faith. His widow, Jennifer, is just weeks away from giving birth to the couple's daughter.

Metro police are still searching for the two men who attacked Trapuzzano last Tuesday. Surveillance video shows him walking down West 16th Street. Investigators said it appears the suspects cornered Trapuzzano and shot him when they disappeared off camera.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.

Meanwhile, donations to help with Trapuzzano's funeral expenses and support his unborn child continue to pour in. They now total more than $140,000.
