Frosty Start to Wednesday then more 70s and storm chances

Angela Buchman
The cooler air is here and we will really feel it overnight, with lows forecast in the range of 32-37 degrees.  Patchy frost is also possible early Wednesday morning.

Wednesday won’t be as windy, but it will be a bit cooler than average.  The average high is 66 degrees.  We are forecasting highs near 60 on Wednesday, with mostly sunny skies.

Warmer air arrives for the end of the week.  Highs will be near 70 degrees on Thursday and Friday.  A line of showers and storms is forecast to move through central Indiana late Thursday through early Friday.  FutureTrak 13 shows the line of rain and storms near the Indiana/Illinois border by 7pm Thursday.  We are expecting the rain and storm chances locally from about 9pm Thursday through 4am Friday.  This means most of the daylight hours of both days will be dry.

The weekend forecast is still a bit tricky.  Some of the latest information has the weekend warmer than earlier thinking.  Right now we are sticking with highs in the 60s, but stay tuned for updates.  the weekend will end with rain chances later Sunday.
