Four students injured when school buses collide in Anderson

Four students suffered minor injuries after two school buses collided in Anderson. 

One bus rear-ended the other at 29th and Madison Ave. at around 3:00 pm.

Six students complained of shoulder pain. Four were taken to local hospitals to be checked out.

The buses were with Anderson Community School Corp. and the buses involved were numbered 311 and 318.

Both buses were northbound on Madison Ave. when the driver of bus 311 saw an ambulance going westbound on 29th St. on an emergency run in her direction. She stopped suddenly, but the bus driver behind her didn't see her stopping and rear-ended the bus in front.

Bus 311 had three students injured while bus 318 had one injured student. All four students complained of pain.
