INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Four people inside a home were hurt after an overnight kitchen fire.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. Monday at the home on 44th Street west of Keystone Avenue. The home is about five blocks northeast of the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Firefighters say one of the people inside woke up to find a fire in the kitchen.

Everyone was able to get out of the house, but four were taken to the hospital after suffering what is believed to be smoke inhalation. Firefighters did not provide a condition on any of the victims.

IFD says the house has roughly $25,000 worth of damage.
