Four Marion County deaths blamed on dangerous winter weather
Four Marion County deaths are being attributed to dangerous cold weather.
The Marion County coroner confirmed the weather-related deaths, which have occurred since Sunday night. Two of the deaths involved Indianapolis residents who collapsed while shoveling snow.
An elderly Wayne Township woman was found deceased behind her home Monday morning. Investigators believe she was clearing a path in the snow for her dogs.
The coroner said there were few details about the fourth death, but it involves another elderly person.
