Indianapolis - Metro Police have arrested four people in a home invasion that ended in the death of a west side man.

Nicolas Toliver, 48, was shot to death in his home last Friday. Metro Police arrested four people in connection with the crime.

Aaron J. Smith, 18, faces charges of murder, felony murder, attempted robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Jamonte Walker, 25, faces the same charges.

Damion Culpepper, 20, is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and Tiffney R. Johnson, 26, is charged with felony murder, attempted robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

It happened early in the morning on Sept. 17th at Toliver's home at 660 Birch Avenue on the city's southwest side.

Metro Police officers say two men armed with handguns went into Toliver's home and held four people against their will during the robbery.

It's believed Toliver was trying to flee when he was shot as he exited the house. He collapsed in the front yard and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
